Quickly and easily put a stop to 404 errors. I created this script to make sure I wasnt losing customers, orders, etc... I hope you like it!

Intelligent 404 is easy to configure and install. Simply edit one file and upload four files to your web server. Thats it.

Heres what you do:

1. Open 404.php
2. Edit $host - change to your web address
3. Edit $email - change to your email address
4. Edit $emailsPerDay - default is 25
5. Edit $checkRobots - 0 is off and 1 is on
6. Resave changes
7. Upload four files to server
8. Chmod https://www.tradebit.com to 777
9. Your done!

Test everything out and make sure its working properly. If Intelligent 404 doesnt find the page it was looking for, it will simply redirect the surfer to your home page. The delay is currently set to three seconds. Feel free to change that if you like.

If you plan to use the $checkRobots feature, make sure you dont have a robots.txt file on your web server. This file would be located in your main directory. Webmasters usually use the robots.txt file to disallow specific web pages that they dont want indexed (ie. download pages or members only pages).
